Powerful Parents: Developing Your Kids' EQ

  • Arthur Street Cafe Arthur Street Baulkham Hills Australia (map)

EQ describes the skills a child requires to label their own emotions accurately, regulate them and control reactions to them. A child with a high EQ (emotional quotient) can also handle more complex social situations and build meaningful friendships, in part because of their ability to relate to or empathise with peers.

Experts and educators are saying EQ in kids matters more than IQ - your child’s intelligence quotient. As a child grows into a teen and then an adult, EQ becomes tied to internal motivation and self-regulation. It governs how they make decisions and cope with stress, solve problems and pursue goals.

Research shows that now EQ is just as important as IQ for kids in the classroom and beyond.

Our Powerful Parents workshop is tailored right down to the individuals who attend on the day. Do NOT expect a powerpoint presentation with generic bullet points. We are here to level up your knowledge of emotional intelligence but will also let you guide the learning based on what you struggle with as a parent. You'll walk away with personalised strategies for your family to implement the very same day.

Your facilitators are Stephanie Pinto, ISEI certified EQ Coach and Trainer, and Ush Dhanak, Australia's leading EQ expert, who has trained teams such as the Australia Federal Police and Smeg. A combination of skills that provides exceptional knowledge and insight for parents, who will gain simple yet effective strategies to use the very same day.
